Do black cats bring bad luck?

Some people think that meeting a black cat can cause them bad luck.

This superstition‏‏‏‏ belief is caused by several reasons:

Brain correlation

After you see a black cat and something bad happens to you, you correlate between the two events, even though they are not related.

Self-fulfilling prophecy

When you believe your predictions, you make them happen. If you believe that after you see a black cat, you will have bad luck. You unconsciously make the prediction happen.
