Equals Sign

The equals sign is written as two horizontal lines:

=

The equal sign indicates equality of 2 expressions on each side of the sign.

For example:

3 + 2 = 5

means 3 plus 2 are equal to 5.

The equals sign is located on the computer's keyboard near the backspace button.
